This paradox is real. I’m going to explain it like this:
You are a seed in the ground. Time goes by, and you sprout. You look around and the other seeds are still underground. More time passes, and you’re almost fully grown. Eventually, you reach full growth, while the seeds around you are still hidden or just barely sprouting.
The seed (you) has completely outgrown its environment. It feels isolated because none of the other seeds are in the same state.
When you grow and the people around you don’t, it creates this environment where you are misunderstood in every way. Growth changes you on so many levels that you no longer resonate with those who aren’t changing on the levels you are. You catch yourself having to explain every action or thought. It becomes exhausting and truly chaotic.
However, those moments are where you stay grounded. You aren’t crazy. The people around you just can’t conceptualize you because they literally aren’t on the same frequency.
Question Prompt: When did you realize you were changing significantly?
