The dress I wore was originally meant for a personal event that nevered ended up happening, and when the event from Jazz, Burlesque, and a Solo Date to Remember came up, I immediately thought about it. I started thinking about what shoes would go with it and if I wanted to curate a costume with it. At first I was thinking maybe being a cat with this outfit… you know, cat ears, cat mask, and cat collar. It just sounded so cute in the moment. However, my mind drifted to more simplicity — something that will make an impression but low maintenance and comfortability. And I was being shown signs of it at first when I was on the hunt to find those pieces I needed for the cat costume. I just didn’t buy into it, but the attraction became more heightened, naturally changing my mind, and I chose to go with a masquerade mask instead. I even did my hair for this event: half up, half down braids in my current hair color ✨BLONDE✨. Also, pairing the sparkle bow tie heels with the sparkle purse made the whole outfit absolute. I LOVEEEE DRESSING UP. Curating every detail — the vibe, the energy, the intention — is really my forte. I knew exactly what I wanted to exude that night: very sexy, very bold, and very underworld-ish. I mean, it was the night before Halloween… what can I say.
I felt very in my power. The dress snatched me in a way that was so effortless, and the dress being backless — knowing I’ve been working hard in the gym for a more toned back — made me feel irresistible. Endless stares and compliments were all I got this night, making me feel even more confident in the vision I brought to life.
