I love having my boobs out. I love when my outfits compliment my shape, it makes me feel so sexyyy. Moans out loud. I step outside, look around, and bask in the sun as I go about my day. I ride trains, buses, and cars, and I get peculiar looks: some in admiration, some in disgust.
Me? I smile with my head held high. I can only imagine the way I’m being perceived: “She’s a hoe.” “She wants attention.” “She thinks she’s all that” (I DO). “Who does she think she is?”
When you own your body, who you are, and dress for yourself, people will come for you to the highest extent. This isn’t only about going against the policing of women’s bodies, but also about the colors you choose to wear, and the colors you put in your hair (to me, hair is also fashion).
You can cover up your whole body, and people will still judge. The truth is, most people dress for others, based on how they’ll be perceived. So when you show up in a way that’s outside of social norms or expectations, you’re literally mind-fucking people everywhere you go.
The real question is, though… do you feel good? Are you happy with how you look? Does your soul scream with joy when you see your reflection?
Question Prompt: I think you’re so beautiful. Don’t you agree?
